Russia
The largest country of the world. Land area begins in northwest of Europe and extends through all north of Asia up to Bering Sea. Shared borders (from northwest to southeast): Finland, Estonia, Norway, Lithuania Latvia and Poland (both via Kaliningrad Oblast), Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, China, Mongolia, and North Korea. Maritime borders: - Japan (by the Sea of Okhotsk) and United States (by the Bering Strait). At 17,075,400 square kilometres (6,592,800 sq mi),Russia covers more than a ninth of the Earth’s land area.
